Katherine L. Spears, APRN will join the Internal Medicine department at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic in December 2019. Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas is thrilled to welcome her to the MANA team!
Katherine graduated from Fayetteville High School in 2004. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While earning her nursing degree, Katherine also worked on prerequisites and nursing school classes at Northwest Arkansas Community College and Har-Ber School of Nursing. In 2014, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama.
Katherine worked as a patient care technician at Washington Regional Medical Center before working as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit and filling in as house supervisor at Northwest Health System. She then worked with Alliance Home Health providing care for patients in the home setting. Most recently, Katherine diagnosed, assessed, and treated patients as an advanced nurse practitioner at Boston Mountain Rural Health Center.
“I pride myself on providing high quality, efficient health care to all of my patients as if they were all my own family members,” says Katherine.
Katherine is a licensed APRN and RN in the state of Arkansas, and is constantly looking to improve the level of care that she can provide. She says, “I always seek ways to improve my medical practice and patient care through continuing education opportunities.”
Katherine and her husband James have 3 children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children hiking, playing outdoors, watching sporting events, and playing games.
