Northwest Arkansas Psychiatry

Our expert team is dedicated to providing caring, comprehensive mental health care for all ages – children, adolescents, and adults.

Our care team – which includes two psychiatrists and two mental health nurse practitioners – is passionate about helping you make progress toward your health and wellness goals. We work with children and adults, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and expert care for mental health and behavioral health issues.

By working with others who play a role in your life (such as family members, physicians, therapists, schools, and teachers), we can build a complete picture of your unique needs and better understand your condition. We can then work with you to customize a comprehensive care plan that fits your specific needs.

NWA Psychiatry offers care for emotional, mental, behavioral, and developmental concerns.

Some conditions we treat include (but are not limited to):

  • ADHD in Children & Adolescents
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Behavioral problems
  • Adjustment disorders
  • Eating disorders

Northwest Arkansas Psychiatry is proud to be Northwest Arkansas’ first provider of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment for depression, PTSD, and anxiety. This advanced therapy is non-invasive and a non-medication treatment. It is FDA-approved and covered by most insurance plans for depression. If you or a loved one suffers from depression and haven’t responded well to treatment, our team can help you decide if TMS therapy is right for you.

Inclement Weather

Emergencies

In an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.

24/7 Care

If you have an acute medical problem that cannot wait until the clinic is open, MANA has Urgent Care Clinics or you can proceed to the nearest emergency room.

Prescription Refills

Patients who take critical prescription medications are advised to maintain regular lab and office visits recommended by their doctor. Please ask your doctor to refill the medications you anticipate needing at your office visit.

If the patient has kept their appointments as recommended by the doctor, you may request refills on some prescriptions (antibiotics excluded). The fastest way to request a refill is through the myMANA health portal or the Healow app. Please allow 72 hours, or 3 business days, for refill requests. Refills are processed Monday through Friday.

To use a mail-order pharmacy, please notify the provider with the pharmacy’s name and request a 90-day supply when applicable. The office will contact the patient if the provider cannot send an electronic refill.

Medical Records

A medical request signed by the patient is required for the practice to send or release records to anyone. To request your medical records, download a record release form and return it to our office.

Costs and Financial Policy

We are in network with most major insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card to all appointments. Payment for copays, coinsurance, and deductibles is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover).
