Dr. John Simmons is a partner at Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics and has practiced pediatrics for nearly 20 years. Dr. Simmons is dedicated to improving the health of children in Northwest Arkansas and was voted one of the Best Pediatricians by the readers of AY Magazine in 2018.
Dr. Simmons chose pediatrics after having meaningful experiences working as a counselor at a summer camp for children with cancer. He also attributes his choice for pediatrics to his positive interactions with pediatric medicine mentors and his training at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
For the past 16 years, Dr. Simmons has volunteered as a camp physician at Camp War Eagle. He enjoys whitewater kayaking, travel, and the outdoors in his spare time. Dr. Simmons approaches medicine in the context of faith and family.
