Julie A. Wilkie, M.D., is joining Renaissance Women’s Health on March 1. Dr. Wilkie is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology with 21 years of experience as a gynecologist.
Dr. Wilkie is passionate about women’s health. Before joining Renaissance, she practiced in Jonesboro for over a decade and then in Springdale for several years. At Renaissance, Dr. Wilkie will provide quality gynecology care for women of all ages. However, the doctors at Renaissance do not provide obstetrical care.
For her education, Dr. Wilkie went to Arkansas State University in Jonesboro as an undergraduate and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock for medical school. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.
She has joined medical mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and volunteered in medical education organizations, as well as community and faith-based organizations.
Outside of work, Dr. Wilkie enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family. Dr. Wilkie’s husband is the Director of Camp Siloam, and she often volunteers at the camp. They have a son and daughter in high school and a son at Louisiana State University. Her pastimes include backpacking, hiking, reading, and interior design.
