Dr. Anamika Tandon joins Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic in the field of Internal Medicine. Dr. Tandon will provide primary care to men and women at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic.
Dr. Tandon has been in private practice and in hospitals and practiced internal medicine, in Arkansas and in Iowa. She has presented papers on topics relating to complex medical cases and workflow in medical situations and has published many papers on eye health.
She received her MBBS (the equivalent of the MD degree) in her native India, at Dayanand Medical College. She then completed a residency in Ophthalmology in Chandigarh, India; an internship at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio; and an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Dr. Tandon is a member of the American College of Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a member of the Punjab Medical Council in India.
Her volunteer work includes providing ophthalmic care at campus with organizations such as the Lions Club and the Rotary Club in India, as well as participation in polio vaccination and other public health projects.
After living in Iowa for 10 years, Dr. Tandon and her husband decided to move to a warmer climate and chose Arkansas. Her husband is an interventional cardiologist and they have one young son. Dr. Tandon enjoys traveling, performing arts of music and dance, Pranayama yoga, and meditation.
