Mary Nell Ford, MD, will be joining Internal Medicine at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic on May 1.
Dr. Ford comes to MANA from Church Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee, where she served as staff physician. The Center is a faith-based clinic serving uninsured working people. Dr. Ford was an internist in this nonprofit clinic for more than 20 years.
Dr. Ford is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and then studied chemistry graduating magna cum laude at Hendrix College. Dr. Ford went on to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for her medical doctorate and training.
Dr. Ford has made medical mission trips to Haiti and is learning Spanish. She enjoys helping people develop healthier lifestyles and is also skilled at working with older patients who may have multiple medical issues.
