The Breast Center’s Fayetteville office will be closed starting Monday, November 7th through Friday November 11th in order to move from their temporary office on Futrall to their original Sunbridge office. The Breast Center’s Bentonville office will be open 7:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. for screening and diagnostic services.
The Breast Center in Fayetteville will reopen on Monday, November 14th at 55 West Sunbridge. A fire in December 2015 forced The Breast Center’s Sunbridge facility to close abruptly. The radiologists and their care team opened a temporary center while renovations were completed. The renovations include an expanded Breast Center with separate Diagnostic and Screening entrances and adding new technology including 3D Mammography or Tomosynthesis.
We’re excited to say that The Breast Center has the latest technology in 3D mammography. 3D mammography is a superior mammogram that captures images using Tomosynthesis. 3D mammography is proven to find 41% more invasive cancers, earlier, while simultaneously reducing the chance of getting called back for additional tests. Not only is Genius 3D Mammography better at detecting cancers earlier, it reduces false-positive findings by 40%. In other words, Genius 3D Mammography is more effective and more accurate than traditional mammograms.
