ART
ART combines specific kinds of touch with specific patient movements to create targeted theoretic effects. The goal is to reduce pain and improve function. Many patients experience dramatic improvement from the first treatment, and most problems are resolved within five appointments.
ART therapies are non-invasive and have no side effects or significant risks. There may be some discomfort during sessions, but the overall effect is of reducing pain and restoring function.
This technique has shown a high level of effectiveness for athletes, people who experience pain from repetitive motions at work, and those who are in pain following an injury. Micro-traumas to muscles and other soft tissues can lead to the development of scar tissue which can limit movement and cause pain.
