Note to Patients: Over the next few months, Dr. Rankin will be transitioning his practice from MANA’s FirstCare Family Doctors Bentonville to MANA’s FirstCare Family Doctors Tontitown where he will be joining Dr. Jonathan Parker. He appreciates the opportunity to be your primary care physician and would like to continue to be your doctor. Eventually on May 31, 2013, he will be seeing patients only in Tontitown.

Walk-In Clinic
If you are sick and need to be seen, we offer a walk-in clinicMonday - Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Patients can walk-in and see a physician for minor illnesses and injuries. No appointment necessary!
After Hours
The clinic telephone is answered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. After office hours, our on-duty provider can be paged through the switchboard at Washington Regional Medical Center: (479) 463-1000. PLEASE CALL 911 FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.
Our providers can offer advice but cannot diagnose illness or call in prescriptions based upon telephone conversations. Please call the office for an appointment.
Prescriptions
A patient must have an appointment for a new prescription medication. Authorization for prescription renewals should be requested during regular office hours. Patients should call their pharmacist for refill request. The pharmacy will call us to request authorization. Please allow at least 24 hours for refill authorizations. > Request a refill

Hospital Affiliations
Dr. Rankin has admitting privileges and is on the active medical staff only at Washington Regional Medical Center. However, Dr. Rankin has an agreement with Mercy Medical Center so that in the event you need to be admitted directly from the clinic and do not wish to be admitted to WRMC, you can be admitted to Mercy. In either case, Dr. Rankin utilizes the services of a hospitalist at both hospitals. A hospitalist is a physician who specializes in hospital medicine and who provides in-patient care with close communication with your physician. Dr. Rankin will remain in contact with the hospitalist during hospitalization to provide continuity of care. After you are discharged, we will provide your follow up hospital care.
